Peanuts on Parade

2000

Ta-coumba was one of seventy-five artists chosen to paint five-foot statues of Peanuts characters installed around the city to honor Saint Paul–born cartoonist Charles Schulz. The opening reception was in the summer of 2000.

Then-Mayor of St. Paul Norm Coleman and Lowertown artist Ta-coumba T. Aiken unveiled a statue of Snoopy at the Black Dog Cafe in 2000.
